Too Faced | Peaches & Cream

For my readers who lives in Houston, the Caribbean islands, Florida, and anywhere else that are currently being affected by Hurricane Harvey/Hurricane Irma, my prayers go out to each and every single one of you.

I've been busy with work and the school semester started for me as well, which is why I haven't been posting at all. I apologize for the inconsistency, but on the bright side, I have been testing and trying out new products these past few weeks. Quite a lot of new K-beauty and Western products were added into my collection so I am excited for the upcoming reviews~

As you can tell from the title, I will be reviewing Too Faced Cosmetics newest collection "Peaches & Cream". There are currently 11 products in the entire collection and as much as I wish I could own it all, my wallet only allowed me to purchase 3 products from the collection.
Before the launch date, Sephora was on a roll with the e-mail notifications about the early arrival of Peaches & Cream. A moment of appreciation goes to Sephora because they definitely made sure nobody missed out on it.

So without further ado, let's get peachy:
Too Faced Cosmetics launched "Peaches & Cream" on August 31st (Sephora) and September 1st (Too F Cosmetics website). Jerrod Blandino (one of the two founders of Too Faced) calls this the "peach revolution", in which I couldn't agree with him more because I personally own the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette and I enjoy using that eye shadow palette a lot.

To save you the time from googling, I have complied all of the images of the 11 products from the Peaches & Cream collection into one image:
I remember the first day when this collection hit Sephora, I speed walk to the nearest Sephora near my campus to purchase the Sweetie Pie Radiant Bronzer. I told myself, "just get the bronzer and that's it." After my 2nd class ended, I found myself walking to another Sephora that was located in Soho to buy more (the Sephora near my school only carried 2 products from the entire collection). Now, my initial goal was only the radiant bronzer--- which I did purchased--- but I ended up getting the matte foundation and 2 lipsticks too.

Even Patrick couldn't believe it.

As many of you know, Estee Lauder does test on animals and is the parent company of Too Faced Cosmetics. Despite this fact, Too Faced is 100% cruelty-free and does offer vegan options in their line such as their Better than Sex mascara, Hangover Primer, Lip Injection Gloss, and many more. If you're interested in purchasing any of Too Faced Vegan Products, check out Logical Harmony's list: Click here to find out more

1. Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer
Before I knew about this bronzer, my everyday bronzer was either Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer or Too Faced Chocolate Soleil. I like Too Faced Chocolate Soleil a lot because it blends in effortlessly, the medium/deep shade is perfect for my complexion, and it doesn't just sit on top of my foundation/BB/CC cream.
When this product launched on the Sephora website, I naturally had a high expectation for this since their TF bronzer is my everyday go-to.

• WHAT IS IT? • "Indulge in everyone's favorite summertime peach treat. Sweetie Pie Bronzer features four blendable shades that combine to define, highlight, and sculpt for a radiant complexion boosting finish that's the perfect recipe for a soft and flawless look. Infused with refreshing peach and sweet fig cream this bronzer smells as good as it looks" (taken from the product box).
The 4 shades are Candied Peach, Caramelized Peach, Golden Peach, and Bronzed Peach.
A very peachy bronzer, eh?

•  FIRST IMPRESSION • The packaging is EYE-CATCHING! It's a sturdy packaging so it most likely won't shatter into pieces if you accidentally drop it. It's palm size and it doesn't feel heavy when you hold it in your hands. I like that the mirror is a bit larger in terms of its width and length--- this definitely makes it easier to see.

I want to point out that the expiration date is printed on the back of the compact and on the bottom of the box.
Look at this beauty, holy. The design is similar to a pie and it's absolutely "delicious" in my eyes. It's so pretty that I didn't even want to swatch it. I was so gentle with sweeping my brush across this because I didn't want to destroy it.
Don't worry, the gold shimmer is an overspray so there won't be any chunks of glitter sitting ontop of your skin when you sweep this on.
If you're wondering whether or not this smell like peaches... yes, it does! Peach by King-Lulu-Deer

• INGREDIENTS
(Screenshot from Sephora website)
I ran Too Faced Sweetie Pie Radiant Bronzer ingredient list on COSDNA and it seems like the only alarming ingredient is... Benzyl Benzoate (this scored a 6 on the safety category which is pretty high).
After a few googling, I found out this ingredient is a solvent/fragrance and it also functions as an insecticide that kills lice, mites, and other potential harmful insects that could cause skin condition. I can see why Cosdna scored this pretty high for safety cautions but after further research, I found out Benzyl Benzoate in this product can potentially kill off any bacteria when you sweep this on. In other words, you won't be piling bacteria on top of bacteria.

If you know you're sensitive and you know what you're allergic to, it is best to be more cautious.
(I'm wearing the Radiant Bronzer, Matte Foundation, and Lipstick from Peaches & Cream)

This bronzer is the perfect addition to any lazy day makeup--- it's versatile, natural looking, and it smells good. If you're looking to contour or you prefer a solid bronzer that can pack on the bronze-y appearance, you might want to try their Bronzed Peach Melting Powder Bronzer instead.
Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer (sounds like an oxymoron) is a highlighter, blush, and bronzer all in one compact.
One of my friends told me this bronzer might look "off" on me since it is more pink-based--- but to be honest with you, it looks damn good. When I sweep this on, it gives off a gorgeous warm look. You can definitely build on with this like I did in the photo. It didn't leave any harsh transition lines and the pigment picks up well with my Sephora Collection #79 brush. I used my finger and lightly sweep the highlight part and tap it on my upper cheek for a radiant glow. Also, there is NO fallout! Thumbs Up By the end of the day, VERY LITTLE faded! Thumbs Up

The price is $30 which is reasonable to me considering the fact that you're getting a blusher, highlighter, and bronzer ALL IN ONE. This product surpassed my expectation and I do see myself incorporating this into my everyday look. Thumbs Up

Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes!

2. Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation {Vanilla}
Ever since I was first introduced to Kicho Aroha Glow CC cushion compact, I have been OBSESSED with cushion compact. I currently own 5 cushion compacts and I rotate between the 5 as my everyday wear. I have only worn foundation twice for the past 3 months, so that says a lot about my feelings for foundation.
To be completely honest with you, I wasn't a big fan of Too Faced Born This Way foundation because it was way too thick for my taste and it was not hydrating at all no matter how much essence/ampoule + moisturizer I applied before it.

Full coverage/matte finish is just not my preference so I hesitated A LOT before I made the decision to add this into my Sephora basket. I even asked two Sephora employees and this pretty lady next to me for their opinion--- yes, I hesitated that much. What sold me wasn't the opinion of the two employees and the pretty lady but the way foundation felt when I swatched it on my hand at the Sephora store.

WHAT IS IT? • "Peach Perfect is infused with refreshing peach and sweet fig cream in our eclusive Comfort Matte Long Wearing 14-hour fomrula. The modern way to wear matte foundation----- photo frinedly, smooth, flawless, and comfortable with a soft focus velvety finish" (taken from the box.
This foundation claims to be oil-free, 14 hour long wear, oil control, and photo-friendly! Peach by King-Lulu-Deer
P.S: The expiration date is also written in the back of the tube.
There are currently 12 shades in the Peach Perfect Matte Foundation:
I was debating between "Light Beige" and "Vanilla" but I decided to go with the shade "Vanilla" instead. "Light Beige" was a little too pink-y for my skintone when I swatched it at the Sephora store.
Just to clarify, the shade "Vanilla" is NOT as dark as it seems! I took this picture by the window and it added quite a bit of warmth to the overall appearance of the foundation.

After I noticed how dark all of the swatches would appear on my hand, I went ahead and swatched 3 lines on my jawline to show you a better comparison
Unfortunately, I suffer from dark circles so excuse my panda eyes. Happy Lenny Emote (Small) by dalmins
In this photo, I am NOT wearing any makeup (besides the obvious swatches). I do have my regular essence, moisturizer, and hydrating primer on. As you can see, it is a tad bit darker than face but here is a picture after it is blended

I questioned the first couple of swatches because I thought it wouldn't match me--- In my mind, I was prepared to return to Sephora to exchange for another shade but "Vanilla" ended up matching me perfectly well. It feels as if this foundation even color corrected some of my redness & it blends into my skin so beautifully! Heart

• INGREDIENTS
The 2nd ingredient after water is "Cyclopentasiloxane" and it's a solvent/silicone to help any fluid spread easier. It's combined with dimethicone to give it a smoother look. This ingredient can be found in almost any Korean CC/BB cream/cushion!

•  CLAIMS TO DO •
If I saw this product a few years back, I would have ignored it completely. I would have also been against everything that is listed in on the box: "oil-free, 14 hour wear, oil control, and photo-friendly". It was honestly a weird phase in my life. Full/matte foundation never did anything wrong to me but I hated it so much for no logical reason. Thank goodness, that phase is over and I am now much more open-minded.

P R O S
Bullet; Pink Offers a nice medium coverage that blends effortlessly into the skin.
Bullet; Pink It lasts me through long hours of school and work. By the end of my 7 hour shift, the foundation still looks presentable with NO touch-up. The longest I have worn this was almost 12 hours so I cannot tell you whether or not the "14 hour wear" statement is true or not. But if a foundation can last MORE THAN 10 hours.... girl, you need this.
Bullet; Pink  The ability to stay intact even after spicy food, cluttered subways, AND humid subway stations. Thank you for not clogging my pores.
Bullet; Pink Comfortable on the skin and it doesn't feel heavy at all.
Bullet; Pink No irritations on my skin and did not broke me out.
Bullet; Pink

C O N S
Bullet; Yellow It did separated around my nose area but for the most part, it did not separated anywhere else on my face.
Bullet; Yellow I had a couple of small dry patches in the center of my forehead the other day (I was testing out a chemical exfoliator) and this foundation accentuated the dry patches. I don't know how I would feel about using this in the Winter since I am very dry in the Winter season.
Bullet; Yellow Although it claims to be "transfer resistant", I disagree. I hugged my boyfriend and you can see a little bit of the foundation had rubbed off and transferred it onto his t-shirt.

Overall, my experience with this foundation has been pleasant. To be honest, I think this is probably the first matte foundation that I've ever enjoyed wearing. I'm 90% sure about this.
The price is $36 and you get this for 48 mL / 1.6 Fl. Oz. I read a couple of reviews online saying this is pricey for a small tube---- so before you start gasping like Patrick the Star, let's look at two other foundations:
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is 1 Fl. Oz. for $42.
- Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is 1 Fl. Oz. for $47
So if you look at the comparison between Estee Lauder & Nars VS. Too Faced Peach Perfect, the tube is really not small.

3. Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipstick
• WHAT IS IT? • "Achieve a burst of intense matte color, unsurpassed comfort, and hydration with this long-wearing refreshing peach and sweet fig cream infused formula."

Too Faced launched a total of 20 shades for Peach Kiss Lipstick
I'm not sure whether all 20 shades are out right now at Sephora stores. I purchased these on the same day that it launched in store so I only saw a few shades.
(Image is from Makeup Your Mind)
I figured this would be a good chance to start trying out more nude lip colors since I own a good amount of red, purple, pink, and orange. I'm not sure if anyone else also has this issue but for me, a lot of nude lippies tend to wash me out. I bought Too Faced Melted Lipstick in the shade "Sugar" around last year after seeing this Youtuber wearing it in one of her videos. It was such a cute color when I swatched it on my hand but I wish it looked just as cute on my lips.

I gave it another go and I picked up "Sex on the Peach" and "Sunday Funday".
"Sunday Funday" is described as a Warm Nude lip color.
"Sex On the Peach" is described as a Spiced Mauve color.

It's so cute how there are peaches imprinted on the lipsticks!

The two shades does consist of more red undertone which fits well with my neutral undertone.
I'm really diggin' the color "Sunday Funday". It's a natural lip color but offers more of a peachy vibe.
I thought "Sex on the Peaches" would be more bold but I was wrong. Much like "Sunday Funday", it's also another natural shade but instead of peachy, it's more reddish-pink.

I looked like an idiot smelling the lipsticks at the two Sephora stores. One of the employees at the first store saw me and asked if I needed any assistance. How embarrassing to be caught smelling lipsticks... you can't blame me because they really do smell good. Peach by King-Lulu-Deer

P R O S
Bullet; Pink It feels extremely creamy on the lip! The formula is 10/10.
Bullet; Pink Super hydrating so no worries about having chapped lips.
Bullet; Pink The color pay off is gorgeous. The colors are true from swatches to wearing it on the lip.
Bullet; Pink The packaging is beautifully crafted with the stamped peaches.

C O N S:
Bullet; Yellow This claims to "last up to 8 hours".... it was gone after a few hours (no eating or drinking). Not long-lasting.
Bullet; Yellow I'm not understanding the "matte" part of the lipsticks.

Overall, I do not plan on getting the other shades in the Peach Kiss line. I'm satisfied with the two nude lip colors that I purchased from the Peaches & Cream collection. It didn't wash me out and it's perfect for the every day look. I am eyeing for Too Faced Peaches & Cream Lip Gloss but unfortunately I cannot find it anywhere in store.

Price: $21

If you ask me: "how do you overall feel about Too Faced Peaches & Cream collection?"
I would honestly tell you that you should go check out the entire collection out. The products that I purchased definitely met up with my expectations. There were a few minor flaws but I still enjoyed it. Since I own both Too Faced Chocolate Bar & Sweet Peach Palette, I did not feel the need to purchase the eye shadow palette.
In the picture, I am wearing ALL of the products that I have reviewed today (I'm wearing "Sex on the Peaches" lipstick).

As always, thank you so much for reading! Neko Emoji-28 (Yay sho happy) [V2] by Jerikuto

  1. The Sweetie Pie bronzer is beautiful, and looks just as pretty on you as in the pan! I'm also far too tempted by every lipstick shade they have...
My bank account is already screaming...
