 Hello to you, gorgeous (yes, you, the one who's currently reading this) 
Thank you to you for clicking on my blog & hank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this pointless page about me. 

I'll be writing this in question-answer format. I don't want to burden you with essay paragraphs.  

1. Is your real name Mango? Do you love Mangoes? Is that why you gave yourself the nickname "Mango" ? 
No, my real name is "ManhWa". I do enjoy eating mangoes but I don't love it like that to name myself after the fruit. Short story, during my Elementary school days, a group of my childhood friends decided it would be fun to give each other nicknames. Yup, you guessed it, this one person called me "Mango" because it apparently rhymed with "ManhWa". We were young, we didn't know much about rhyming. And it stuck with me 'till now.  

2. Why did you decided to start a blog?
I have always wanted to start a beauty blog ever since I was in HS. With the current generation that we're in, everybody is investing their time in either on YT, blogging, or becoming "Insta-famous". And plus, I have a ton of beauty products sitting in my cabinets and on top of my dresser so what better way to make use of em' than to share my thoughts with the readers?

3. What is the primary focus of your blog? 
Mainly beauty reviews but I like to incorporate lifestyle into my content from time to time. When it comes to beauty, I focus on Western skincare + makeup AND Asian skincare + makeup. I like to give my readers the best of both worlds because I know my Western readers are interested in Asian cosmetics and vice versa. If you follow me on Instagram, I enjoy bouncing back and forth from Western to Asian inspired makeup look.  

4. What is your skin type?
Normally, my skin is Combination/Oily. I am prone to breakouts on my T-zone area, dryness around my cheeks, and is easily irritated around my cheeks as well. I always seek out for hydration, gentle, and brightening when purchasing skincare products. 

5. How old are you? Where do you live? Ethnicity?
I am 21 years old, I currently reside in Brooklyn, NYC. Vietnamese/Chinese. 

6. Are you currently employed? What is your beauty background?
I currently freelance for Shiseido, Murad, and Guerlain. I am a licensed Esthetician and certified Make-up artist. But at the end of the day, I'm simply a beauty junkie. 

7. Besides from working and blogging, what do you like to do in your free-time?
I enjoy reading. My all-time favorite books are "A man called Ove" by Fredrick Bachman and the entire "Crazy rich Asians" series by Kevin Kwan. I binge watch a lot of K-drama and TV shows (Orphan Black & Fresh of the Boat ❤).
